The workshop was held for three days at the Dato’ Mohamed Mahbob Meeting Room, Kluang Municipal Council (MPK), with the participation of 50 MPK staff and officers. The workshop was officiated by Encik Mohd Fahmy bin Yahya K.B.; P.A., President of MPK.
All workshop participants were exposed to the understanding and importance of ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 37001 (Anti-Corruption Management System – ABMS). The existing risk register for each unit, division and department has been realistically updated based on the current work environment.
The identified risks have also been referred to and will be presented to the consultant for improvement purposes before being forwarded to the General Administration Division as the secretariat.
All input and knowledge shared together is very important as preparation before facing Compliance Audit 1 by SIRIM.
It is hoped that this effort can serve as a platform for all participants to actively discuss, improve existing systems, and assist and support MPK towards becoming an organization that is not only efficient, but also respected for its integrity.
