The ASEAN Sustainable Urban Forum (ASUF), ASEAN Governor & Mayor Forum (AGMF), and Meeting of Governors and Mayors of ASEAN Capitals (MGMAC) took place from 10–15 August 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, officiated by Deputy Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof on 12 August.
President of Kluang Municipal Council (MPK), Mr. Mohd Fahmy Bin Yahya, together with department heads and technical officers, attended the forum and presented during the Learning and Knowledge Session on Integrated Urban Climate Action for Low Carbon and Resilient Cities on 13 August, alongside mayors from various ASEAN cities and special delegates from India.

This participation reflects MPK’s commitment to supporting ASEAN’s sustainable development agenda, strengthening international cooperation networks, and advancing Kluang towards becoming a smart, green, and liveable city in line with the Maju Johor vision.
